Empyrean Services Supports United Way of Cape Fear

Darrell Williams, Empyrean Services’ Director of Business Development, attended the annual United Way of the Cape Fear Area annual golf outing, at the beautiful Magnolia Greens golf course in Leland, NC, held on May 24th, 2021.  Empyrean sponsored a foursome, and donated raffle prizes as a demonstration of support for the greater Wilmington area and Empyrean’s long standing relationship with GE Hitachi.

Williams added “Empyrean has thoroughly enjoyed our long-standing relationship with GE, and we are honored to have the opportunity to support the greater Wilmington area through GE’s leadership and sponsorship of this special and worthy event”.

Empyrean Services attends NIC’s Advanced Reactor Summit

Last week, Empyrean Services attended The Nuclear Industry Council’s Advanced Reactor Summit VIII.  This virtual event was attended by over 300, and continued its focus on showcasing technology developers and advancing solutions on the cost and deployment timeframe of advanced reactors, as well as practical ideas and concepts that have the potential of significantly improving advanced reactor design, deployment, and operations.

The Empyrean Group Supports Local Communities

The Empyrean Group proudly supported, in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Greater Washington County Food Bank.  Rather than holding its annual holiday gathering, the Pittsburgh section created a platform for regional SPE members to help support the local community.  Empyrean was proud to participate in this honorable demonstration of how the energy industry cares about its neighbors.

PIOGA-Marcellus to Manufacturing

11/12/20-  The Empyrean Group was honored to attend the 2020 Marcellus to Manufacturing event at Oglebay Resort, in Wheeling, WV, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association (PIOGA).

This year’s talks focused on COVID protocols, Maintaining a Safe Workplace, and discussions about how natural gas, and its byproducts are crucial to a stable economy, including Hydrogen production.

On June 1st, Empyrean Services celebrates its 20th year of supplying premier nuclear consulting and professional services.
The company’s first engagement featured the company’s founder and President and CEO, Sushil Jain, providing executive consulting services to Nebraska Public Power District’s Cooper Nuclear Station. Soon thereafter, the Company started to provide similar services to other nuclear utilities. Empyrean then landed its first government contract at the Hanford site and has never looked back! Since its inception, Empyrean has enjoyed providing top quality talent to the nuclear industry and as a result, has participated in many of the nations’ largest and most visible and successful commercial and government nuclear projects. Today, Empyrean Services is recognized as a key provider of consulting and staff augmentation services to the North American nuclear industry supporting advanced reactor designs, nuclear new-build, and nuclear plant services. In addition, Empyrean has established itself as a key player in the US Nuclear Plant Decommissioning market supporting commercial, as well as research reactor, decommissioning.

Empyrean Cares:

Empyrean Staff has made a significant contribution to the local Food Bank to provide food for people adversely affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Funds were specifically earmarked for providing lunch for kids who have lost access to such meals because of school closures.
