Sushil C. Jain, P.E.
Mr. Jain is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Empyrean Services LLC. Prior to founding Empyrean Services, Mr. Jain served in various executive positions within the nuclear power industry. He has served clients in many executive support programs in the energy industry on national and international levels. Mr. Jain has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
Patricia G. Tuite, CCP
Patty Tuite has over thirty years of engineering, management, and power plant valuation and federal tax cost segregation experience with a concentration in capital project design and costing. Her experience in power generation includes utilities and independent power producers and spans several technologies including nuclear, coal, hydroelectric, gas turbine combined cycle, gas turbine simple cycle, waste to energy, geothermal, solar, biomass, and wind. Patty also has expertise in the design and construction of transmission and distribution assets.
Prior to joining Empyrean, Patty spent eighteen years with a big four accounting firm as a Director of Engineering and Construction Consulting Services and eighteen years with Duquesne Light Company in both nuclear power generation and transmission and distribution. She was assigned to Beaver Valley Power Station for five years where she performed start-up test engineering and taught plant operators. During this time she acquired a detailed knowledge of plant operations, plant equipment, and nuclear plant systems. In the area of transmission and distribution, Patty managed the design of the overhead and underground electrical distribution system to all new customer services. She was directly responsible for the development and human resource loading for a $20M capital budget. She has supervised a staff of engineering technicians and service representatives while managing over 100 projects per year.
Patty is a Certified Cost Professional with the Association of the Advancement of Cost Engineering International. Patty has also published an article entitled “A Multidisciplinary Approach to Pollution Control Property Tax Exemptions for New Power Plants” in Cost Engineering, The AACE International Journal of Cost Estimation, Cost/Schedule Control, and Project Management (September 2008).
Patty has an MS in Information Systems Management from Robert Morris University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, she completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University.
